AAR’s Nordisk Partners with Airbus to Develop AMV Main Deck Cargo Container

NORWAY, October 6, 2014 — AAR’s Nordisk Aviation Products, in partnership with Airbus, announces it has developed an AMV main deck cargo container exclusively for the A330-200F, A300-600 and A310-300 converted freighter. Hong Kong Airlines recently purchased the customized unit devices (ULDs) for its fleet of Airbus 330-200F aircraft. The AMV accommodates side-by-side positioning, allowing maximum use of space.

AAR Landing Gear Signs Five-Year Deal with Air Nostrum in Spain

MIAMI, September 17, 2014 – AAR (NYSE: AIR) announces an agreement with Air Nostrum, based in Valencia, Spain, to overhaul landing gear on its CRJ900 aircraft fleet. The contract builds upon AAR’s existing relationship and experience servicing landing gear on the airline’s entire fleet of CRJ200s over the past seven years. AAR Awarded New Contract for Airlift Services in Africa

WOOD DALE, Illinois, September 15, 2014 – AAR (NYSE: AIR) announces the U.S. Transportation Command (USTRANSCOM) has awarded its Airlift division a contract to provide dedicated rotary-wing airlift services to U.S. Africa Command (USAFRICOM) throughout four Central African countries. The government has dismissed a protest – which was filed upon award to AAR in May – and AAR will begin performance on the contract in October.
