AAR partners with governments to improve asset availability and customer mission capability. We do more with less through integration of IT platforms, a deep bench of procurement experience, and application of commercial best practices.

Our CLS and PBL solutions are designed to integrate with customer needs and requirements. Each program team orients itself around client processes, bringing solutions to bear with little administrative impact. We have successfully integrated our parts inventory platforms with numerous U.S. and foreign government procurement systems, maintaining the strictest data integrity standards.

Our implementation teams are as comfortable in expeditionary non-permissive environments, as they are in London or Washington, D.C. We are often co-located on client sites, but utilize AAR’s interconnected global network of warehouses.

Examples of current programs include: the Japanese MoD Hawkeye E-2C, Afghan Air Force C-130, UK E3D Sentry and USN C-40A.

 

Case Study: Prime PBL for USAF 

Task: Provide total supply-chain management to support all U.S. Air Force and contractor requisitions received for all C-130, KC-135 & E-3 landing gear parts via a long-term PBL contract. AAR Solution: Leverage AAR’s expertise in managing the repair, maintenance and logistics of landing gear with repair work in Miami and inventory supply & management in Wood Dale, IL, and Ogden, UT. Apply commercial MRO and supply chain best practices to help government increase efficiencies and  reduce costs. Results: AAR chosen as prime contractor for 15-year, $909 million landing gear award.
