AAR Signs Component Support Agreement with Wataniya Airways

AAR (NYSE: AIR) announces the latest expansion of its commercial business in the Middle East: A multiyear contract to provide power-by-the-hour component support for Wataniya Airways, one of the national carriers for the state of Kuwait. AAR will support Wataniya’s fleet of Airbus A320 aircraft through its extensive inventory network, including parts warehouses in Dubai and Europe, and position local stock in Kuwait.

AAR Signs Component Support Agreement with Viva Colombia and Viva Air Peru

AAR has expanded its global footprint by signing a multi-year component support agreement with Viva Colombia and Viva Air Peru. AAR will be providing pool support to affiliate airlines within the Viva LatinAmerica group including VivaColombia, Colombia’s first low-cost carrier, and the newly established low-cost carrier Viva Air in Peru. AAR will make inventory available from its facilities in Miami and Chicago, as well as positioning stock in Bogota, Medellin and Lima.

AAR Selected to Provide KC-46 Palletized Seating to U.S. Air Force

AAR has been selected to provide the United States Air Force (USAF) with palletized seating systems to accommodate passenger carriage in KC-46 aircrafts in 10- or 12-seat configurations. The contract with AAR’s Mobility Systems is valued at just under $5 million, with ordering periods through the end of DoD’s FY19.

AAR CFO Timothy J. Romenesko Announces Plans to Retire After 36 Years of Service

Long-time Chief Financial Officer and Vice Chairman of AAR Corp. (NYSE: AIR), Timothy J. Romenesko, announced that he will retire effective December 31, 2017. Romenesko joined AAR in 1981 and performed various financial roles for several AAR operating units before being named Corporate Controller in 1991 and serving as CFO and Treasurer from 1994 to 2006.

AAR Elects General Duncan J. McNabb (ret.) to its Board of Directors

AAR announced today that General Duncan J. McNabb, U.S. Air Force (retired), was elected to the Company's Board of Directors at today’s quarterly Board meeting. McNabb served as Commander of the U.S. Air Mobility Command from 2005 to 2007 and Commander of the U.S. Transportation Command (USTRANSCOM) from 2008 until his retirement from the Air Force in 2011.
