AAR Tapped by U.S. Army to Support Egypt Air Defense 776 Command and Control System

Huntsville, ALABAMA – AAR (NYSE: AIR) has been selected by the U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command (AMCOM) to upgrade and modify the Government of Egypt’s Project 776 Integrated Air Defense Command and Control System used by the Egyptian Armed Forces’ HAWK Air Defense System. The work will be performed by AAR Precision Systems in Huntsville through June 2014.

AAR Lightweight Multipurpose Shelter (LMS) Approved by U.S. Army

AAR Reports Fourth Quarter and Fiscal Year 2012 Results

WOOD DALE, ILLINOIS — AAR (NYSE: AIR) today reported fourth quarter fiscal 2012 results that were in line with the preliminary results released on June 14, 2012. Fourth quarter sales were $563.3 million and diluted earnings per share were $0.45 before the effects of special items and $0.32 after the effects of the special items. For the fourth quarter of last fiscal year, the Company reported sales of $487.8 million and $0.52 diluted earnings per share.

AAR Announces Cash Dividend

WOOD DALE, ILLINOIS — AAR CORP. (NYSE: AIR) announced that its Board of Directors at its regularly scheduled meeting declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.075 per share to its stockholders. The dividend will be paid on August 9, 2012, to stockholders of record as of the close of business on July 27, 2012. Future cash dividends will be subject to the approval of the Board of Directors.

AAR’s Telair Converts Thai Airways B747-400 Passenger Aircraft to Freighter with Main and Lower Deck Cargo Loading Systems

MIESBACH, Germany – AAR (NYSE: AIR) announced its Telair cargo systems business was selected by Thai Airways International to provide both a main deck and full lower deck cargo handling system for the recent conversion of two Boeing 747-400 passenger aircraft to dedicated freighters, under its Boeing 747-400BCF program. The first Thai Airways freighter entered into service in April 2012 and the second in May 2012.
