AAR Repurchases 1.75% Convertible Senior Notes due 2026 at the Option of Holders

(NYSE: AIR) announced today that pursuant to the terms of the indenture, certain holders of AAR's 1.75% Convertible Senior Notes due 2026 (the "Securities") have surrendered their Securities for purchase by AAR (the "Put Option"). The Put Option expired on January 31, 2013. The purchase was made on the terms and subject to the conditions set forth in the Put Right Purchase Offer dated January 3, 2013.

AAR Awarded Medical Logistics Support Contract for U.S. Army

WOOD DALE, Illinois — AAR (NYSE: AIR) has been awarded a medical logistics contract for the U.S. Army Medical Material Center -- Southwest Asia, located at Camp As Sayliya, Qatar. AAR’s Defense Systems and Logistics business will provide inventory management support to the U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) in Iraq, Afghanistan, Kuwait, Qatar and the United Arab Emirates. The one-year agreement includes two renewal options.
