AAR Wins $3.1 million Award to Provide Contractor Logistics Support for USAF Air C2 Systems

HUNTSVILLE, Alabama, October 22, 2015 – AAR (NYSE: AIR) announces its Integrated Technologies C4 Systems Division has been awarded a four-year contract by the U.S. Air Force to provide contractor logistics support (CLS) for the AN/MSN-7 Communication Central System for the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center at Tinker Air Force Base in Oklahoma City, Okla. The one-year contract comes with three option-year renewals and is valued at approximately $3.1 million.

AAR, along with subcontractor Tec-Masters Inc., will provide the latest support technologies and experienced Air Force technical personnel to meet all requirements including product support service; organization and depot maintenance; spares; training; sustaining engineering; and system modifications.

Support will be provided from AAR’s production and integration facility in Huntsville, Ala. AAR Integrated Technologies (InTech) leverages its 30-year business experience in design, development, test and contractor logistics support of command and control (C2) systems. InTech utilizes recent experience in deploying and supporting the latest USAF air command and control system to the Middle East Battlespace Command and Control Center (BC3).

InTech, part of AAR’s Mobility Systems, performs command, control, communications, computers (C4) system development, deployment, and technical support services for U.S. and allied military agencies, defense system OEMs, and system integrators. Customers include small businesses requiring expanded engineering and production capability to meet delivery requirements. Services include system engineering, prototyping, testing, and production fabrication and integration services, backed by training, 24/7 help desk support, field service representative (FSR) support, and in-service sustaining engineering services and system upgrades.
