AAR Awarded Contract from U.K. Ministry for 463L Pallets

Incumbent AAR Mobility Systems continues as exclusive supplier
CADILLAC, Michigan – AAR (NYSE: AIR) has signed a contract to supply 463L cargo pallets to the United Kingdom Ministry of Defence. The four-year contract is valued at up to $13.8 million, or 8.3 million British pounds. The work will be performed by AAR’s Mobility Systems business in Cadillac.
The specialized Air Cargo Pallets (ACPs) will be used on a variety of transport aircraft in conjunction with United Kingdom Ministry of Defence (U.K. MoD) cargo handling systems to transport supplies in aircraft, within airfreight terminals and on motorized and non-motorized vehicles.

The 10,000-pound capacity pallets will be deployed on fixed-wing aircraft that include the Hercules C-130J; C-17A Globemaster III; TriStar KC1; Voyager KC-30; A400M Atlas; and the Antonov An-124. AAR has been supplying 463L pallets to the UK MoD for more than a decade.
